Metro Head Start Goes Green (Bean)

Metro Head Start Goes Green (Bean)!

Our little learners explored green beans in a fun and sensory-rich way through the Windy Wise (We Inspire Smart Eating) Green Bean Tasting activity!

Using all five senses, the children described
 Sight “Spinach, Green, Stick”
Touch “Cold, Bumpy, Soft, Smooth, Hard”
 Sound “Pop, Snap”
 Smell “Dirt, Pencil, Pepper”
 Taste “Milk, Pickle, Apples”

We love seeing our students engage with healthy foods in such a creative and thoughtful way. Great job, Metro Head Start!
